Last week’s team lunch was all about coconut milk, curry and noodles. We tried Busaba Eathai – Westfield and were actually well surprised. Chopsticks lovers, this place is for you!
Like most of Westfield’s restaurants, Busaba Eathai is located on the Southern terrace with some tables outside for sunny days. Unfortunately that day wasn’t hot enough to eat outside so we got a large square table for 6 inside.
The place is quite dark, furnished with large wooden tables and big softened lamps hanging above – nothing more. Some incense perfumes the entrance and welcomes you while waiting for a waiter.

Again, I took ages to write that one… about last Friday’s lunch! That was a beautiful sunny day, almost like summer time, and thus it was the perfect occasion to enjoy a Mediterranean meal at The Real Greek.
That restaurant chain was founded in 1999 and has now 7 branches across London. Read the rest of this entry ?

Wahaca, or should I say Oaxaca, is a mexican restaurant chain in London.
Oaxaca? A bit of history: it is located in Southwestern Mexico and is one of the 31 states which comprise the 32 federative entities of Mexico. It is divided into 571 municipalities. 571… hum… how do they manage that??? The state has some of the greatest biodiversity in Mexico and is also best known for its indigenous peoples and cultures. The most numerous and best known are the Zapotecs and the Mixtecs. I should plan a trip to Latin America…

Today I’m going to take you to a place that I quite enjoy in London: Le Pain Quotidien. That Belgian restaurant chain is more than a bakery. There you can buy good bread, but also enjoy a nice meal such as soups, tartines and delicious desserts.
I strongly recommend you to go to your nearest Pain Quotidien for breakfast! Before 12:00 I love ordering a bread basket to share served with loads of jams and spreads – feel free to ask as many as you want, they’re all good! I think my favourite chocolate spread is Brunette – yummmmy can’t get enough of it. The bread basket is a selection of various breads such as wheat, baguette, walnut etc., but sometimes I ask for a basket of baguette only when I miss my French lifestyle too much 😀 Read the rest of this entry ?

Today at work we decided to go for a team lunch. We usually go altogether on Fridays for a burrito, but this time we decided to try something new: Jamie’s Italian, one of the famous Jamie Oliver restaurants.
